“New Relic is at the heart of many successful digital organisations who people rely on for food, transport, shopping, travel, and health – on a daily basis. We’re there from the time people wake up and start work, to when they have dinner and go to bed, and we’re thrilled to have Michael play an important part in our next phase of growth across the region,” said Dmitri Chen, executive vice-president and general manager, APJ, New Relic. “Michael brings a wealth of experience, as both a leader in digital product and platform delivery across the world, and even as a loyal New Relic customer for many years.
“Michael will play a pivotal role as our ‘customer champion’, creating a crucial bridge between the business and customers, and helping clients overcome technology pain points by using full-stack observability,” Chen said.
“As a previous customer of New Relic, I already had high regard for people in the company and its observability expertise. There’s no doubt that New Relic is a business-critical platform and my mission is to ensure that customers continue to depend on New Relic as a fundamental part of their business and digital delivery, and help potential clients embrace our technology as it’s significant to their bottom line,” Fleshman said. “We’re seeing a rapid rise in the number of conventional companies becoming more digital, with the pandemic hastening the process for many organisations. Many have realised they can’t afford to operate on a ‘set and forget’ mentality – and this is where New Relic’s powerful Full-Stack Observability capabilities are vital to any business.”
