Sonata Software links up with IIIT-B to fund platform-based digital transformation research

The three-year project will be funded to the tune of INR 1.05 Crores

Sonata Software Limited, a global IT solutions company, announced a grant to International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), to support scientific research for accelerating digital and platform-based business transformation. The three-year project, funded to the tune of INR 1.05 Crores, will focus on research fellowship and evangelization of technology for platform- based digital business transformation.

Sonata Software has been at the forefront of enabling digital transformation through platform-based technology and business models through its proprietary Platformation methodology. The company feels that the methodology would provide a boost to the ecosystem of enterprises, by empowering them to adapt to rapid changes in technology and business environments. Research and educational initiatives through an institution like IIIT-B is expected to contribute in enabling more predictable and effective outcomes for enterprises.

Sonata Software also funds research and funding entrepreneurs in technology ventures through educational institutions such as NIT Trichy and IISc Bangalore. With the IIIT-B partnership, another premier industry relevant program has been brought to bear on its commitment to accelerate impact of technology on society.
