Netgear appoints Marthesh Nagendra as Country Manager for India & Saarc

NETGEAR has announced the appointment of  Marthesh Nagendra, as  Country Manager for India and SAARC region. A NETGEAR veteran with extensive experience in building the company’s channel partner base in India, Marthesh will spearhead new growth initiatives, focus on streamlining channel structure and partner base, enhancing quality of customer service and expanding retail presence including branded offline & online stores.

For instance, the company plans to deploy robust Wi-Fi systems in high-end homes with ORBI, tap ever growing home automation market using ARLO, NIGHTHAWK &amp; ORBI and offer high-bandwidth streaming, Private Cloud and 10G switches to suit requirements of bandwidth intensive audio-video, ISP and Surveillance applications. NETGEAR’s award winning NAS will address the storage solutions for all while an extensive range of Wi-Fi solutions will continue to offer wireless network solutions with longest warranties and low maintenance.</li>
<li>NETGEAR is rolling out an aggressive partner program to recruit, train, certify and support a wider base of solution partners in India &amp; SAARC. The NETGEAR Solution Engineer Certification program will additionally ensure that all those who sell NETGEAR solutions in the region are well trained and duly certify to support customers across home, business and service provider market segments.</li>
<li>On the retail front, the company intends to open around 50 partner managed NETGEAR retail outlets across India which showcases entire range of NETGEAR products to improve visibility, customer touch and prompt support for its extensive range of Wireless, Storage, Security and home automation products.</li>
