The event continued to maintain a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout its final chapter, with a variety of activities such as presentations, panel discussions, quiz competitions, and an award function.
The concluding event of CIO Accelerator X Awards happened in The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata on 19th July 2024. After the lamp lighting, Sanjay Mohapatra, Editor, Enterprise IT World welcomed the gathering of more than 150 CIOs in Kolkata, the city of Joy. The event kick started with the soft launch of the much-awaited CIO Gold Book.
The audience witnessed informative keynotes on ‘The State of Digital Transformation in India’ by Sanjay Kumar Das, Managing Director, M/s WBEIDC Limited (Webel), ‘DeepTech Globalization to BigTech Formulation’ by Avi Dahiya, Founder & Futurist, Xoogler, Twyn.
The first panel discussion was on ‘Strategic adoption of Next Gen Technologies including Gen-AI, Automation and IOT for Business Growth’ moderated by Subhashis Manna, Partner – dGTL, Grant Thornton Bharat. The eminent panellists for the same included, Kumar Prasoon, CIO, Twyn, Kripadyuti Sarkar, Group CIO, Ambuja Neotia, Prateek Agarwal, Head – IT, Lux Industries Limited, Abhijit Chatterjee, Director, TCG Lifesciences Pvt Ltd. and Prakash Tripathi, Head Of IT – Sr. GM, Shyam Steel Industries Ltd.
The next panel discussion on ‘Data Driven Business Strategy’ was moderated by Partha Banerjee, CEO, Viyat Solutions & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Aloke Majumder, VP of Technology, Hoichoi, Subhamoy Chakraborti, Chief Technology Officer, ABP Pvt Ltd., Atanu Pramanic, VP-IT, CESC and Subhakar Rudra, Chief Information Officer, WPIL and Subrata Kumar Roy, Senior IT and Digital Transformation Leaders added new perspectives by sharing their respective experiences.
Presentations by Sunny Vaghela, Director & CEO, Techdefence Labs Pvt. Ltd. and Vinay Ojha, Director of Sales, Seceon Inc. kept the gathering glued with the information on technological development versus the current operational challenges.
Last but not the least, Panel Discussion on ‘Enhanced Role of CIOs in Company Board’ moderated by Sanjay Prasad, Partner, X-PM India, and former CIO, CESC, Tata Power Groups & Citigroup Global Services had panelists including names Sourav Das, Group – Chief of Digital & IT, Rupa & Co., Partha Protim Mondal, Chief Information Officer, Berger Paints India Limited, Manik Paul, Chief Information Officer, Vikram Solar and Rishikesh Singh, Assistant Vice President – IT & Digital, Grasim Industries Ltd – Textiles (Aditya Birla Group).
The quiz conducted by NM Mehta, Founder and CEO of SNS, added the perfect touch to the evening, ensuring it was both engaging and enjoyable. His involvement likely brought a unique perspective and energy to the event.
Under CIO Accelerator X Awards 2024, around / CXO’s were recognised from various industries across the country. The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Sanjib Mohapatra, Publisher, Accent Info Media Pvt.
